- Broadway & Emerging Artists: The Mayo Performing Arts Company presents “An Evening of Song, including Broadway favorites and more!”, alongside Hillsborough singer-songwriter Isabella Dussias (Voting Academy member and Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award winner).
- Classical & Choral Masterworks Experience: Set inside the historic, architecturally breathtaking venue of St. Peter's Church, experience the majestic symphonic arrangements of the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey and the inspiring vocal harmonies of the Harmonium Choral Society featuring new works by American composers.
- Children’s Fun Festival (At Morristown High School): Hosted at Morristown High School, featuring Dinoman bringing dinosaurs to life, Story Faces (face painting where you become part of the story), Maniac for Bricks (interactive LEGO building), Artsy Palette creative craft station, Child's Play Challenge (Interactive Obstacle Course & Action Zone), and TJ Hill Magician.
- The Film Festival & Visual Art Galleries:
- Premier Film Festival & Cinematic Showcase: Curated with artistic vision, First Night Morris County presents one of the region’s most widely attended film events—celebrating cinema as a vital, engaging art form for thousands of festivalgoers. Spanning two dedicated physical venues at the County Building (screenings begin early at 4:30 PM) alongside multi-day on-demand streaming, the festival features over 40 curated titles, including award-winning animation, compelling documentaries, narrative drama, sci-fi, comedy, and international features for all ages.
- Two Premier Visual Art Galleries: Explore 4 floors of fine art at the County Building featuring the New Jersey Highlands Coalition 13th Annual Art Exhibit (entries from 4 states), and visit the MPAC Gallery featuring the Morris County Art Association’s holiday exhibit, ‘Tis the Season.
- Pathways to History Showcase: Connecting countywide historical societies and showcasing local history at Morristown High School.
- Macculloch Hall Historical Museum: Featuring Thomas Nast historical displays, a children’s scavenger hunt, and open museum tours through one of Morristown's most beloved historic homes.
- The New Year’s Midnight & Mid-Event Celebrations:
- 9:00 PM Mid-Event Celebration: A warm, family-focused tradition bringing attendees together early to celebrate community, creative youth highlights, and shared New Year energy.
- Midnight Countdown Celebration: An inclusive, welcoming gathering to ring in 2027 together, reflecting on the night and celebrating the start of the New Year.
Expanded Year-Round Programs (FNM365®)
While December 31st marks our marquee celebration, First Night Morris County extends far beyond a single evening. Through the year-round FNM365® initiative, your support powers four continuous pillars of community development, educational innovation, and artistic empowerment:
- Arts, History, and Innovation (AHI) Initiative: Part of FNM365, AHI extends our impact year-round through partnerships, educational opportunities, and community programming. AHI is built on three pillars: History (promoting local heritage and community partnerships), Innovation (advancing community development), and Arts (fostering creativity and meaningful community engagement).
- Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Launched through FNM365, this initiative transforms traditional artist support into a robust small business network. Developed in collaboration with NJSBDC, First Bank, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, FNM365 equips visionary creative founders and solopreneurs with the business, capital, and operational tools needed to build sustainable enterprises year-round.
- Reading To A Better Future: Developed specifically to champion early childhood literacy as a foundational catalyst for academic success and lifelong learning, this initiative represents an expansion of our highly impactful Bookmark Program, which has placed over 30,000 custom bookmarks directly into the hands of young readers across the Morris County Library System.
- Talent Pipeline & Workforce Development Program: Directly addressing modern workplace challenges through our innovative experiential learning and talent pipeline development approach. Developed in partnership with the Morris County School of Technology and Business Leaders, this program connects students to executive mentorship and real-world ecosystem initiatives, cultivating the next generation of business, technical, and community leaders.

- First Night Mobile App: Serving as our primary digital event guide, the official mobile app lets attendees easily view schedules, access venue maps, stream MPAC performances live, access on-demand film festival titles, and unlock downtown dining deals through our partnership with the Morristown Partnership. A concise bifold schedule map will also be available on-site.
- Meet FRED (First-Night Resource & Event Directory): Built directly by FNM365 STEM Leadership Interns from the Morris County School of Technology, FRED is your interactive AI event assistant—answering questions, helping you navigate the night, and providing direct links to official event resources.
- Complimentary Garage Parking: Free parking is available at all Morristown parking garages starting at 4:00 PM.
- Complimentary Shuttles: Dedicated shuttle routes begin at 4:30 PM, linking parking hubs directly to venue entrances.
- On-Site Will Call: Convenient button pick-up locations available across Morristown, including Morristown High School (4:30 PM to 8:30 PM).
